I was both pleased and flattered to be asked by Cathy over at the wonderful 746 Books to take part in a series of guest posts which she kicked off with a piece about Judy Blume’s Tiger Eyes, and how it had influenced her own reading. She made me stop and think about what kind of blogger I am and what has influenced my choice of books since I started to blog. Other bloggers have taken themselves back to their childhoods – I particularly enjoyed Elena’s memories of The Lost Cake last week – but mine are much more recent.
