My Year in Books (2025 Edition)

This meme’s an old favourite of mine. Someone usually pips me to the post and this year it was Bookdout who has her own version which Cathy used for hers. Like Karen and Cathy746, I’m using the same prompts as in previous years, drawing on the titles of books I’ve read in 2025 with links to any I’ve reviewed on the blog. Why not join in? There’s still time.

In high school I was Bad Bad Girl

People might be surprised by Little Monsters

I will never be A Waiter in Paris

My fantasy job is An Honest Living

At the end of a long day I need The Sleeping Car Porter

I hate being As Rich as the King

Wish I had All the Beauty of the World

My family reunions are Unfinished Business

At a party you’ll find me with The Odd Woman in the City

I’ve never been to The Place of Shells

A happy day includes Objects of Desire

Motto I live by Damned if I Do

On my bucket list is Perfection

In my next life I want to have Fun and Games

A very happy 2026 to you all, reading and otherwise!

  1. This is great fun, and something I joined in with last year. My computer-less-ness last week has left me chasing my own tail, so I’ll just relish yours. I bet you weren’t a Bad Bad Girl at school. I wasn’t. That came later!
